Deryn at the Ubud Writers and Readers Festival
Deryn had a wonderful time at the 2014 Ubud Writers and Readers Festival.
Tiger Stone received its international launch featuring a fantastic Q&A with Deryn and Nic Low. Deryn also ran a cerpen mini (micro fiction) writing workshop for the festival’s youth program which was attended by enthusiastic young writers from several local high schools.

Ubud was super busy during festival time. As well as the festival, the sanctification of the renovated Gunung Lebah temple was taking place. Here are some of the many villagers who made processions to the temple during the week.
